Uche Monu is the CEO and Lead Consultant at Silver Crest Educational Services Ltd., and a respected education professional with over 15 years of experience in teacher training, educational leadership, and school improvement.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Nottingham (UK), and an Advanced Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management. She is also an alumnus of the Senior Management Programme (SMP47) at Lagos Business School. A certified Montessori Directress, Uche earned an International Diploma in the Montessori Method of Education and holds a Diploma in Special Educational Needs, reflecting her strong commitment to inclusive learning.
Uche’s journey in education began in 2010 with the founding of The Explore Creativity Centre in Asaba—an after-school initiative focused on nurturing creativity and diverse skills in children. In 2020, she founded Silver Crest School in Lagos, which later evolved into Silver Crest Educational Services.
A dynamic and visionary leader, Uche is committed to excellence in education and continuous professional growth. She has participated in numerous local and international training programs, educational seminars, conferences, and classroom observation initiatives.
She is the founder of The Explore Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing inclusive and equitable education. The foundation empowers educators, promotes inclusive learning environments, and provides resources to schools—particularly within Nigeria’s public education sector. She also the convener the High Impact Conference for Educators, the foundation’s flagship program.
Uche serves as Chairperson of the Train the Trainers Summit, a nationwide initiative of The Duke’s Infant & Child Foundation, where she is also a member of the Board of Trustees. Through this platform, she champions leadership development, community empowerment, and expanded opportunities for children across Nigeria. She also serves on several boards and contributes actively to initiatives focused on transformational development.
In addition to her work in education, Uche is a travel consultant who has organized international tours and conferences, and has participated in various industry-specific training programs.
